Disclaimer & scope of service
Exactly what we do, what we don't, and who is responsible for the testing and the results. Please read it before ordering.
What we are
DNA Testing Solutions operates a Pakistan Coordination Center: an office for customer guidance, documentation and international shipping. We are not a laboratory, no samples are taken at our office, and we are not a pathology or diagnostic facility.
DNA testing is not performed in Pakistan. Samples are sent to laboratories in the United Kingdom, the United States and Turkey. Those laboratories do not have offices or laboratory facilities in Pakistan.
What we do
- Guide customers on the right test, the laboratory's requirements and the documents needed.
- Make sure every participant has signed a consent form before anything is sent.
- Accept sealed samples handed over by customers and check them against the order details.
- Package sealed samples for international shipment.
- Complete the required shipping and supporting documentation.
- Dispatch samples to overseas laboratories by DHL or another international courier, share the tracking ID with you, and track the shipment.
- Coordinate with the laboratories and support customers about their orders and shipments.
What we don't do in Pakistan
- Taking samples of any kind. No samples are taken at our office.
- DNA testing or DNA extraction.
- Genetic analysis, PCR, sequencing or any other laboratory testing.
- Preparing DNA test results.
- Genetic or medical diagnosis, or medical treatment.
- Operating as a pathology or diagnostic laboratory.
Role of the overseas laboratories
Samples are dispatched to the relevant laboratory in the United Kingdom, the United States or Turkey. That laboratory is responsible for DNA testing, genetic analysis, and preparing and issuing results and reports.
Any accreditation, certification or quality standard referred to in connection with your test belongs to the laboratory performing it and is stated on its report. DNA Testing Solutions holds no laboratory accreditation and claims none. See the laboratories and their certificates.
Results and reports
Results are generated and issued by the overseas laboratory. We do not produce, write, edit or alter results in any way, and any request to change a result or arrange a particular outcome is refused. Accuracy, methodology and report content are the responsibility of the issuing laboratory under its own standards.
Our responsibility is limited to guidance, order checks, packaging, documentation, shipping, tracking and customer coordination.
No medical or genetic advice
Nothing on this website, and nothing said by our staff, is genetic counselling, medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. We cannot interpret genetic findings. If your result has health implications, discuss it with a qualified medical practitioner.
Use for official purposes
Our focus is wellness and lifestyle. Any test intended for an official purpose must be requested as such from the start, because it needs the laboratory's own identification, chain-of-custody and documentation steps, which cannot be added later. Whether a report is accepted is decided by the authority receiving it, and neither DNA Testing Solutions nor the laboratory can guarantee acceptance.
Timing and shipping
Every order includes international transit. Courier delivery to the laboratory normally takes 3–5 working days, and laboratory processing time varies by test and is confirmed in writing when you order.
Timeframes are estimates, not guarantees. Courier delays, customs clearance, public holidays, incomplete documentation and samples that fail laboratory quality checks can extend them.
Your information and samples
To provide the service, your personal details and sample are shared with the laboratory performing your test and the courier transporting it, which involves transferring information outside Pakistan. Samples are retained and disposed of according to the laboratory's policy.
We do not release results to anyone other than the people named on the order without written instruction, except where required by law.
